Thoughts of a Hamster Hoarder... :3

Just a little something I put together one night ^_^
Please be gentle, it takes a lot for me to share anything I've written but it's ok to tell me it's pants

I'm concerned I have an illness
It's making life quite tough..
I always have to have one more!
But it's never been enough.

Everytime I leave the house
I somehow get drawn in...
I know I shouldn't come here
My resistance will not win.

This poem sounds quite awful,
but don't be fooled my friend.
This poem is pretty harmless
You'll see it in the end.

I'm talking about Hamsters
The fuzzy bundles of fluff.
I always have to buy one more,
Or buy them loads more stuff!

They wake up in the evening
They're so much fun to see.
There's just something about them
That makes me want to 'Squeee'

It could be their pink noses,
Or their tiny furry feet..
It could be how the meerkat,
Or their faces, oh so sweet!

So many different colours,
And different patterns too!
Some can be quite vocal
And some even throw their poo!

What I'm trying to say here
Is, its getting really bad...
My house is full of hamsters
And people think I'm mad.

Perhaps we have a problem..
But do any of us care?
When we're sitting cuddling fuzzies
Or grooming their long hair?

I love my little furries,
I really do, it's true!
And if you're still here reading,
Then you must love yours too!
