A hobby of mine is drawing. Specifically, I specialize in drawing in a cartoony style which I have loved doing ever since I was little. Although most of my art is fanart from shows I like to watch, I have recently began trying to branch out more in more original art, most of which is animal related.

Back in July, I lost my little rescue syrian Woolley who had to be put to sleep due to illness. So to help with the pain of losing her, I doodled a picture of her and my previous hams all hanging out on big sunflowers at the rainbow bridge together. I liked it, so decided to colour it. I have worked on it on and off for over a month and finally finished it today!

The hamsters on the tallest sunflower (top to bottom) are: Saffron, Storm, Max and Molly
The hamsters on the smaller sunflower (Top to bottom) are: Lucky, Sakura, Woolley and Milo

Honestly you could do this professionally, graphics for children's books etc etc.

Thank you for the lovely comment Drawing has always been one of those things that I've never stopped loving to do. Maybe one day I could do a job with it, who knows!

The picture was drawn by hand then all lineart and colouring was done on the computer with a program called Paintool SAI.
If anyone is interested, this was the original sketch I did before I did the lineart and colour

I used to have such trouble making smooth lineart until I got SAI. The blending on it is amazing too!

That is an adorable picture ^-^ I love how colourful and cheery it is! Makes me smile =D

I have recently started using SAI too, I used to use a really old photo editing program called Arcsoft PhotoStudio to do all my digital artwork with a mouse XD when I look back I have no idea how I managed to keep a steady hand!
