yeh...the looney business! No seriously..wwhen i finish degree i may take to making them in spare time...or maybe when dissertation is due, i rather like sitting doing them watchign tv..steampunk kitty was made in bed watching a film id need people who would want to buy though, they are very time consuming!" x

You can sell all over the world in Etsy There are a lot of English sellers on there (including me when I get my act together!). It's default currency is dollars but you can change all that when you have an account (something both sellers and buyers do).
There is a totally english version - Folksy. Folksy doesn't seem to have as many people on it though, I'm not sure if it's a better option.

Messy handstitching is not a problem; that's what people want these days! Heck, you can get sewing machines now that can "reproduce" hand stitching. They're marketed to quilters and the stitching is still fairly neat but the point is that they don't look like they came out of a machine. People want the hand-made look!
