Re: Daniela Krystiana - The Danish Princess
Oh lol It find it hard enough if two are begging for seeds at the same time. I usually go from first hamster to last hamster in order of when we got them :P

Awww tell Daniela from me that she chose a lovely name! She's such a pretty girl. Hope she's settling in well after her long journey

Re: Daniela Krystiana - The Danish Princess
Is her danish name still unknown?
She looks utterly cute, and I'm glad she's doing better in her new cage

Bit late the party but awesome! A new lovely Chinesey lady! She's very sweet. I really will have to get round to putting my name down for a pup from a future litter!

Yes, from what I understand, it's still with the Danish Hamster Club for approval.
As much as I'd like to know what her official name is, she seems to suit her current name.

Excuse this if it's a dumb question,
So it is tradition to use their pedigree names, but is it somewhat of a rule? If someone was to not use their pedigree name (or the name their original breeder gave them) would that get you into any trouble? Sorry if it's a dumb question lol

To be honest, I'm not 100% sure myself as Daniela is my first show hamster that already has a proper name on her pedigree rather than just a temporary name. (Matthew's temporary name was Nobrias 6 for example).
I don't think it matters if the hamster is a pet only but I'm not sure where things stand when it comes to breeding and showing.
