Default Chinesey wheels!

Hello all, hope you're having a lovely day!

I've been seriously considering a Chinese hamster now, and I am hoping to get one in the summer. However, I'm stuck on which wheel I should get. I've narrowed it down to two options, the 9 inch silent runner and the wodent wheel sr (which I'm pretty sure is 11 inches). I will be able to get a free wodent wheel, but I was concerned, though I doubt it is an issue, but is it possible it would be too large? I'd obviously rather the free (and much larger) wheel, but if the silent runner is a better option, then I have no problem buying it! Thank you

Either wheel would be ok, I haven't had a wodent wheel but I think they spin as freely as any other so it wouldn't be too big, all mine have the 9" silent runner & love them, after having one chinesey who would climb up on the spindle of a trixie wheel (just to chew off the label on the outside I think, or just because she could!) I feel the silent runner is probably safer, it's definitely easy to clean which is a big plus with chineseys who love to pee in the wheel.

I'd definitely go with the Silent Runner. The Silent Runner is perfectly fine for a very small Chinese hamster, being a 9 inch wheel for a hamster that's roughly 2 inches usually in length,so it isn't exactly necessary to have the larger wheel It's also superior in terms of safety and quality,so that is worth thinking about!

I must have forgotten the tail length or something!I'd still think in a lot of cases the 9 inch would be fine, but if in doubt there's always a good excuse to just have a 12 inch Silent Runner lying around
