Zylvan, another new man in my life!

Sounds like he's going to come along nicely in the new set up Though he's a bit dangerous sleeping under a heavy sand bath lol, you wonder how they manage to get under stuff that is on the base. Sounds good though having it on the sleep n cheese block though, will make a nice snug nest for him if he decided to stay in that corner

The set-up looks fantastic. I'm sure he'll soon settle in and start having some fun in there. He does sound like a shy quirky little boy

He does seem to be doing well, the door is very big so it's a lot lighter in there than he's been used to but it doesn't seem to be bothering him, in the morning at least, he was very confident this morning, coming to the door when I called him & taking some seeds & waiting patiently when I went to get him a mealworm. he's still not coming out in the evening until he's sure I've gone to bed but that should get better with time.

I did put a Greenie in his house yesterday to try & tempt him back in there but he's still in his cosy corner, I don't think he knows I can see right into his nest

OH MY GOD!!! he has quite a burrow there. It has to be adorable to see him snuggling there!!! I would love to have that privileged view!!! I'm a stalker without remedy

Lovely to hear Zylvan has been doing well and is confident in the morning to take treats from you. It's so sweet that he made his own burrow to sleep in, where you can also spy on him!

It was a sweet little burrow wasn't it I think he caught me spying though, by next morning there were lots of busy noises coming from his house & he's moved back in now!
I think that's a sign his confidence is improving tbh, he's still waiting until lights out (except the red light he can't see ) but getting up earlier again & I've been able to watch him enjoying his cage & running in his wheel, I do sit & talk to him which he's fine with but so far that's it in the evening, morning is treat time!
Overall I think I'm seeing a really big improvement for just a few days so still a ways to go but I'm just really happy for him
