Re: Everything Zen
So cute. Love the hammock particularly the fabric design! I couldn't get that one when I ordered one.

Re: Everything Zen
Aww Zen sure loved her porridge with a squeaky clean bowl left. She's quite a character with chewing at the cable ties and monkey barring lol! She sure likes to keep herself entertained and you also.
When I read her weight, I was like ooh so tiny but oozes with so much energy and charm.

Re: Everything Zen
Getting photos of Zen isn't the easiest thing in the world, she's so speedy & such a busy little thing she doesn't stay still for long but I did manage one!
She's still not what I would call completely tame yet but she has such a huge presence I keep forgetting she's only been here a few weeks
If she's not burrowing or making mountains of substrate with all her digging she's still up to mischief most of the time, I think the cable tie obsession is beginning to wear off now thankfully, I heard the tell tale twang of bars the other day & went over to her expecting to see her up there on top of her yellow house having a go but she was stood up in her corner crush which is fixed to the bars with string pulling the ends of the string into the cage through the bars It is ham safe string but still, if there's something I'd rather she didn't do she has to have a go!
She's quite an independent little girl mostly but I think she still enjoys attention & yesterday evening it was her turn to stand at the bars wondering why someone else was getting it all
Happy amongst the chaos

Re: Everything Zen
Zen looks so sweet in these photos, she is so cute. Zen sounds like a busy and mischievous girl, it's good she has stop chewing the cable ties. It nice that she enjoys getting attention.

Re: Everything Zen
She is very cute but she's such a handful too lol! Really keeping me on my toes, I've just been trying to stop her bad habits with cardboard over some of the bars & it little wooden ledge attached vertically to stop her getting at those cable ties, she just got up to inspect my work & I don't think she's well pleased!

She's got a lot in common with Jessie. I'll often come downstairs in the mornings and walk over to Jessie's cage and I'll just be asking 'What have you been doing now Jessie?' because she'll have been making more mountains or moving cardboard boxes around her cage.
Jessie had an obsession with a particular bit of mesh on her bin cage a couple of months ago. I think James might have been partially to blame but eventually it wore off after Vectis recommended a few things to distract her.

Re: Everything Zen
Beautiful pics of Zen. You've certainly captured a lovely shot.
I'm sure once she settles in fully, she'll forget and the cable ties. Plus the cardboard covering them should help.
Love her hammock too!

Love the latest pics, she's stunning and I love her shiny coat.
Lol! at your actions on preventing bar chewing and the wooden ledge for the cable ties, she'll be determined to get to them, she's got that I will try and try determined look on that innocent face.

Re: Everything Zen
What a great personality you have there. I just love the new photos but the one of her taking the seeds from your hand is adorable and also shows how beautiful she is.
