Aren't Tulipe & Lavande dom spots though?
That photo of little baby Arty really is cute!
I can't begin to imagine having ten though lol!
Not so sure sitting on a shoulder is just a boy thing, Zephyr loved to do that too!

They are. I was having an issue with posting my flickr pictures and did so much copy and pasting that it all went a bit wrong in the descriptions. I can't seem to edit it now.

I don't know what it is about the boys but all of mine have liked sitting on my shoulder. I had James sat up there a few minutes ago.
Is Wee Mad Arthur related to Wee Jock (I'm only guessing because of the names - which I think are very cool)?

Look who I found in my old photobucket albums?
Wee Jock as a youngster:-
And later on
It was so sad when he became diabetic. He was a week away from entering in a show that might have seen him get his third certificate of merit and become a champion.
Bred by Vectis, he was my first official hamster as a club member back in 2012 and was the tiniest hamster in the world until he blossomed the following year Will always be a special boy. He son, Mightily Oats was the only litter he gave me and it's so nice to see him doing well too.

Oh look at him! Isn't he lovely.
He's James's granddad so it's lovely to see some photographs of him. Like Wee Jock was for you, James was my first hamster as a club member last year. I'd already had four Chineseys before I joined the club - all of which were pet shop hams but James was the first hamster I'd got as a club member.
It's a shame about his diabetes though. :'(

Re: Meet the Chinese Hamsters
He became diabetic after his litter which threw a spanner in everything as I'd wanted more pups. So far though the incidence of diabetes in his line has been tiny. I like to think we are making progress with our screening of it.
He lived another year and passed away at three and a half years old.
Lovely to hear that about James, I hope he goes on to achieve a full three certificates
