Wow! Zeki looks amazing for his age! It was funny hearing about Zeki kicking all the sand out of his sand bath - he still very cheeky!
I hope his weight loss isn't from an underlying health issue and just age.

Thanks SKB, he is funny with his sand & definitely still very cheeky
I was very worried about him for a few days, he had one day when he drank a huge amount of water & seemed to be off quite a few of his favourite foods, he never really showed any signs of feeling or being ill but still I was really thinking I would have to take him to the vet but he’s much better now, still drinking more than he should be but not enough to be overly concerned.
His weight has been stable for over a week now, he’s still 48g, smaller than he was but still a healthy enough weight.
He’s been having porridge for breakfast the last few days & is loving that I usually just put a spoonful on his plate for him but one morning he beat me to it, came running over & sat on his perch by the door with his front paws in the spoon licking up every last bit, even when I’m worrying he still never fails to make me laugh every single day!
He was really back on form this morning, begging for treats like a bottomless pit! Kicking sand everywhere & todays new trick kicking all the sand out then peeing in the sand on his shelf!?! 
He’s back to doing his proper marathons in his wheel in spite of the heat the last few days & other than keeping a close eye on his water consumption I feel I have my happy silly boy back again now

Aww I'm so pleased to hear that you have your silly boy back again cypher, what a relief
His new trick sounds highly entertaining  A little messy maybe but as long as he's enjoying himself that's the main thing

Aww, I'm so glad that Zeki is back to his typical, silly and active self again! Lol, Zeki licking all of his breakfast porridge and peeing on the sand tossed shelf. He is quite the adorable and funny ham. I am SO happy for the two of you!
