Re: Easter Chinese Rescue
They always seem especially adorable when they poke their heads out of the substrate like that.

Re: Easter Chinese Rescue
It has been a month now in her new bin cage & it doesn't seem like it needs cleaning. I did move the bedding and check her stash. Doesn't appear that she is peeing on her stash. It's under a tree stump where it appears that she sleeps sometimes. Will wait a couple more weeks then check again. It doesn't smell of urine at all? I think she might be using her sand bath as a potty which would be really nice if she is. I just sifted her sand and from what I could tell it is likely that she might be.

Re: Easter Chinese Rescue
Lucky you if she is! I do wonder if mine use the sand at all sometimes but can't see any signs.
They really only pee a very small amount so it could be that the carefresh is just absorbing moisture & any smells. You should be fine leaving the clean a bit longer though unless you do find anything that needs spot cleaning.
