James and Victoria were mated over the weekend without much success. Victoria wasn't having any of it and decided that biting James's nose would be a good idea...
You can just about see the scab on the side in this one...
He's healing well and this one was taken yesterday...
Unfortunately with breeding there is a risk of your boys getting hurt, which is why they're supervised. James will be allowed to recover before I attempt to pair him again.

The day Victoria gave him his injury, he really milked the 'feel sorry for me' thing. It really was a proper sad face.
I did spoil him a little bit to make up for the fact that his girlfriend was so mean to him. He says Nobby (Victoria's first husband) is welcome to her.
