James can be pretty clever when he wants to be...his biggest issue though is laziness. There's a lot he could do but chooses not to because he can't be bothered.

I tried scatter feeding him at one point but he didn't bother going to look for the food unless it was in the immediate vicinity of where he thought his food bowl should have been or next to his strawberry house where he keeps his stash.

He's a very sweet and loveable lad but doesn't do a great deal. He'll come out at playtime where he'll either snuggle up with me or he'll wander round his playbox looking for food and then sitting with his blanket. Once he's back in his cage he'll wait for his after-playtime snack (usually a couple of seeds or mealworms and will then spend a large part of the rest of the evening sat up in his hammock supervising the happenings in the hamster room. He'll go for a little run during the night but doesn't always bother.

I've still not managed to get his Christmas present as they've still not got any Junior Wodent Wheels in stock and they're quite pricey to import.

I would say James is very laid back, he has his own routine and him being a Lord and Handsome he has me hooked.

James is a funny boy... he seems to change his mind by the day as to how good he wants to look.

I honestly don't know why I bother putting James in his playbin sometimes since he prefers to just sit on his blanket.
