That's a very good point and could give a little bit more insight into the socialisation of young hamsters.

Lord James is having fun at playtime exploring some new toys and like May he's fond of his cheese box which is currentyl in his cage holding his water bottle in place. He's a real sweetie and has me wrapped around his tiny paw already.
Enjoying snuggles:

It's a good job I can't make the Bassett show really, as I might have had to hunt you down & pinch him! (Joking! But if you ever need to rehome him....)

That is such a lovely shot, what a little sweetheart he is!
I have to agree about the eyes, they get me every time.
I could so easily go in for some hamnapping too!

re: Lord James, Earl of Metallica
Lord James and I had a lovely moment yesterday.
He was out in his cage late in the afternoon so I went to say hello to him. He looked up at me so I got him out and he sat with me until I had to leave for a meeting. He was so chilled out that he could have fallen asleep there if I hadn't had to put him back in his cage. I've missed moments like that since Meat crossed the bridge so it was quite nice to have James so laid back to make that possible again.
