Re: The Beautiful Miss Lady May's Thread
Aw! Lady May looks adorable in her snuggly toys. I'm glad she approves. They've survived several of my hams and mice with regular washes so hopefully she won't decide they're delicious The stack-a-fuzz hammocks are great fun for Chineseys. My hams had the honour of trialling the demo versions for Fuzzbutt before she started selling them.

At the moment she's only getting it at playtime so I can keep an eye on her to see if she does try to eat them. So far she's been fine so hopefully I'll be able to add them to her cage when it's colder.

I bet that was a fun trial for them to be a part of.
I'm definitely going to be getting one for May as I think it's something she'll enjoy. I just have to decide whether it's worth getting two now whilst I know they've got them.

Re: The Beautiful Miss Lady May's Thread
I keep a spare so I can take it out & give it a wash now & then, I don't think Zephyr would forgive me if I left her without while it was washing & drying lol! Stocks can disappear for ages too so it may well be worth getting while they're available.

That's what I was thinking. Besides, I am planning to get another Chinesey at some point in the future as well so I'd like a nice choice of toys for them.
May has been a very spoilt girl lately. My sister bought her a huge mug from Sports Direct as Sooty really loves hers.
I turned it upright for the photo and within a few seconds she'd worked out how to climb out of it - and then promptly tried to climb back in again so I put it back on its side for her.
(Sorry about the blurriness of the photo, it wasn't taken in the best light)

A perfect fit
It's so hard to resist spoiling them but why not, the rewards of having a happy excited ham are always worth it

I think all hams should have a sports direct mug, it makes it easy to compare tiny and chunky. Without the mug I might not be able to fully appreciate how absolutely teeny tiny Lady May is and that would be awful :3

It's a really nice feeling when you see that your pet is really enjoying something you've given them to play with.

I've got a photo of Sooty in her Sports Direct mug that I'll get uploaded to her thread at some point. She doesn't look quite so small.
Today I put the taming glove in May's playpen as I'd trimmed a few of the nails on one of her front paws and I wanted her to feel comforted and I guess she was so comforted that after a quick run around she fell asleep in it.
I left her for a few minutes and then carefully put the glove, with her still snuggled up inside it back into her cage. She came out a few minutes later, ran on her wheel for a bit, begged for seeds and then went back to bed.

May sounds so adorable. The mug photo is cute as anything, but the story of her and the glove is just the best ever. How sweet she is.

It was very sweet when she fell asleep in the glove.
She's been doing so well with her confidence lately, she's letting other people stroke her now and she'll happily be lifted out of her cage without needing to climb into her old exercise ball. She's not great at being lifted out of her playpen but I think that's because she doesn't want the fun to end.
She's like an excitable child sometimes.
