The Fluffagrams Hamsters
I've had Chinese hamsters for a little over three years and I still have one of the Chinese Hamsters that made me fall in love with the breed. I thought that it was about time I introduced my little angels.
Meat - He's my sweet old boy and is three years and four months old. He came from Pets at Home with his brother Stitch who unfortunately passed away last September. Meat was a shy boy when I first got him but he grew into one of the most affectionate and laid back hamsters out there. He's named after the singer Meat Loaf.
May - She's my baby girl and is only ten weeks old. She came home with me earlier this week and like Meat was as a baby, is a little bit shy when it comes to coming out to play in her cage but she's more than happy to let me stroke her. She's named after singer/songwriter Imelda May and the musician Brian May.

Re: The Fluffagrams Hamsters
Meat is an amazing age! What a gorgeous guy he is too
May does look a little shy but she's a beautiful girl
I've mostly kept Russians but since getting my Chinese last year I'm totally in love with them too, it's lovely to see their characters emerge from shy beginnings & they really are such characters!

Re: The Fluffagrams Hamsters
I must admit I`m a big Chinese hamster fan myself even though I`ve only owned the one female. She was larger than life and left a huge gap in my life when I lost her prematurely to illness. I love their `mousey` characteristics. x

Re: The Fluffagrams Hamsters
I fell in love with Chinese hamsters as soon as I met Meat and his brother and I knew that from then on that any future hamsters were likely to be Chinese too.
It's funny, when we bought Meat and Stitch, Stitch was our first choice but we decided that we'd give Meat a home too. I am so glad we did because he's one special little guy and I'm so fortunate to have had him for so long.

Re: The Fluffagrams Hamsters
This has to be one of my favourite photos.
This is Meat with his brother Stitch when they were about 6 months old. A few months later they had to be separated after they had a fight.
Meat is the smaller one on the left.

They are both gorgeous! Meat is super handsome, he's like the George Clooney of hamsters (I hope you don't hate George Clooney! I find him very handsome the more he ages, so this is totally meant as a compliment!)

Totally adorable pic!
Mistouflette - so agree with you on George Clooney!
It's the grey hair and his eyes that I so like!

Re: The Fluffagrams Hamsters
It was rare for Stitch to pose for long enough for me to have taken that photo but I'm wondering if that had something to do with the honey and seed stick in front of him.
Meat's always been a lovely, laid back boy and knows exactly how to get what he wants out of me.
I know that they say that you shouldn't have favourites but he's pretty special to me.
