Oh My Lord! Kiki that last shot is hysterical. I just bust out laughing. A hammie chaise lounge. Oh my. . She really is adorable and I'm so glad she's starting to tame. I can understand how you feel, especially since my two dwarfies are finally able to come out on the bed and I can hold them. Having Pippa in your arms had to feel just great

Haha how funny that she chooses to drink that way! No experience of chinese myself but I'd be interested to hear if that's a common trait! Funny little hams they do make me smile

They are certainly different than hybrids, but Pippa is such a blast to watch! I love my time I spend with her!

I have NO idea why she chooses to drink that way, but every time I have seen her get water, this is how she does it. I wonder if the bottle is too high for her or if it's just a little quirky thing she does...it's pretty cute

They each have their own personalities and funny little quirks don't they!?!?
Every time she gets a drink, this is how she does it!

So, my pretty little Pippa has no problem climbing all over me once she's out of the cage

BUT..... She's still very nervous about my hands (in and out of her cage) and being held...especially when she's in her cage. She still sometimes runs and hides when I just talk to her. I use a snuggle sack to get her out of her cage. So, I need some opinions and advice...

Do I leave her alone in her Billy cage (top opening) and trust in patience and the taming method ...

OR do I change her to a cage that has a front opening (like a 64L Really Useful box with a front opening door)?

Well I went with my instinct & have kept Pippa's cage the same. I'd decided to wait it out and be patient since, other than my hands, she really seems to like her cage.

My patience is paying off!! For the first time EVER, Pippa took food off of my hand tonight...not took it from my fingers, but actually climbed on my palm with her cute little Chinesey feet and took it from my hand. I am on cloud nine!!. <3

Patience=Progress

I was smart enough to grab my camera this time!! I was nervous that Pippa taking food from my hand last time was a fluke, but......

Not so!!!
