Default Re: Imac Fantasy Cage for chinese hamster?

Just noticed my old thread! I havn`t given up on my Imac Fantasy, but I did sell on one of my cages and only have one left now, so may just end up selling that too and using my Ferplast Kios cage which is the safer option due to it`s 7mm bars. x

I am personally not a massive fan of this cage, I have heard horror stories of hamsters being able to unscrew the circle caps on the lid. I used it for a while but I prefer a cage with more floor space. I guess that the iMac fantasy is best suited to a Chinese hamster as they do like climbing and having plenty of ways in and out.

I agree Truffle. I was never a fan of the Imac Fantasy in the past but the cage isn`t that bad. It does have it`s quirks though. It can be made to work if adjustments are made. I hate the tube inside and the fact that those circular caps get in the way.
