Best cages for Chinese Dwarf Hamsters?
I recently rehomed a gorgeous chinese dwarf hamster from PAH. I've called her Suki
I've had a big, empty hamster cage for years but have never been able to force myself to get rid of it (just in case )so decided to find it an inhabitant. I now realise that it isn't suitable for chinese dwarfs (I've always had syrians before).
I need to buy a new home for Suki (hopefully from e-bay as pennies are short) but haven't a clue what to get. I want her to have as much room as she can and all the cages in PAH seem so tiny so looking at those hasn't helped.
Suggestions for Suki's new home would be really appreciated. I am not very practical so don't want to make anything.

Erm..
Duna multy is a great cage, though quite expensive
Imac bingo is fab, you can get it from Pet super market, for just under £31
Gabber rex (hard to find though)
zoozone1 (needs meshing)

Do you have them in a mini duna each, or both in the same mini duna ?

Re: Best cages for Chinese Dwarf Hamsters?
My girl likes having coloured sides to her cage, but a tank style is good to prevent escapes.
I have my girl in a duna multy, with nice deep substrate (e.g woodshavings/megazorb) for her to dig through.
here's a photo of her cage
An imac bingo, gabber rex or zoozone 1 are around the same size as the multy
edit: it DOES have a lid, just took photo with it off..

I like the Ikea DETOLF on its back as a hamster home (goggle it) but would think the glass is difficult to clean? The Duna Multi would be the one I'd go for if not the DETOLF.
