Oh I was gunna have deep substrate, she has it now so I wouldn't wanna take that away from her, I'll definitely put all this into consideration to make willow have the best home. Any other suggestions would be great. I'm so glad the spruce isn't as bad as I first thought I'd prefer not to have to buy another cage as this had a lot of what i wanted.

It's better than a pine wood cage As good as oak or beech hardwood. Leaving the top shelf, removing the bottom one and increasing substrate depth basically reduces the height of the cage but still gives two levels.

That's perfect. That saves me buying another cage. I'll definetly do that, thank you so much. It won't damage her lungs or anything will it ??

No it's fine Nothing wrong with it at all. The issue is pine wood shavings that aren't kiln dried or cedar wood shavings.
