large hamster activity centre review 😊
This is the cage
20150102_120223.jpg
I brought this cage from someone over facebook , it was brand new and I got a bargain with it, i like this cage because there is lots of room inside and it is very colourful, I also like the way how this cage has 2 tubes on the top and two at the sides. The cage encourages play by having 4 towers to climb and lots of tubes and room for toys. The only downside I would say is that the base is quite flimsy and the towers can be quite difficult to clean if a hamster wees in them (just like my hamster fudge). The cage is of reasonable size and is perfect for a syrian hamster and could also be used for dwarfs.
Thankyou for reading

There was a post about it on here a year or so ago
FOP hamsterland cage?
It looks a nice big size - I believe some people wanted them for playpens. Just keep an eye on the tubes - what is the diameter of them and do you have an average sized syrian?

Re: large hamster activity centre review 😊
I found a link to them - it says they are 60cm by 60cm - not large for a Syrian but ok I reckon - works out at 360 square centimetres. The wheel looks a bit small though - syrians need an 8" wheel minimum and ideally bigger. Sorry if it is an 8" wheel - I can't tell from the photo!

They need 360 square inches minimum, don't they? Still, good for a playpen - although I could only find it online for £130

Re: large hamster activity centre review 😊
Goodness am I mixing my centimetres and inches?! I was thinking my cage is 80 x 50 cm so not much different to 60 x 60. Probably my maths lacking there.

Re: large hamster activity centre review 😊
Sorry for late answers the cage is fop hamster land and can be brought on amazon for £99 , i am unsure on the wheel size but it was a seperate one i brought as the one that came with the cage was tiny, my syrian hamster fudge is average sized and fits through the tubes easily without a struggle at all

Re: large hamster activity centre review 😊
14.5cm is just under 6inches which unfortunately is too small for a Syrian, I would say a minimum of an 8inch wheel is needed, but a lot of Syrians need even bigger than that.
