Default Review: Ferplast Mary Cage

First things first. I have to admit that at a new rrp of £70 this cage is not cheap. But the thing is, they seem to be available in abundance on sites such as Gumtree and eBay. I got mine for £20 from gumtree.
The cage is massive. Not only is it massive but it comes completely empty ready for you to fill to the brim with exciting things for your hamster. For me, the cage is a blank canvas and is the best option for Cookie who loves to run about in big open spaces.
One of the selling points of this cage is the massive door on the top, not only this but with a smaller one on the side, access is no issue I can spot clean with ease and the ability to rearrange the cage and get the hamster out is also incredibly simple.

So, to sum up. The cage is:
Large
Easy to access
A great blank canvas
Cheap if you look around

Below are some pictures of the cage itself.

I love that cage too - shame I need one with narrow bar spacing! Yes Cookie is cute and demonstrating how easy it is to climb in the Ferplast Mary lol.

The bar spacing is 1cm on this cage I believe.

Great Cage! I have the same cage for my Syrian Hamster. I think that more cages like this one should be aimed towards hamsters instead of the small pet shop cages you can find.

Just to say, you can buy ferplast shelves. The ones that fit the ferplast Jenny, plus and furet tower. They also fit in the Mary.

You can usually get them on ebay but think amazom may sell them too.

You can fit as many as 2 in and it adds more running around play and enables you to put more toys in without cluttering the ground floor space

Cool Re: Review: Ferplast Mary Cage

thats pretty good, i use to have that one but i changed to a fish tank because lemi kept biting the rails! and besides, this way i could see into his world a little better. i didn't want him to ruin his teeth so i just got him a big fishtank. i think he loves it and dosing miss the old cage at all.
