Yeah the door was open just a little bit haha. Thankfully he's a terrible escape artist.

Well the hooks didn't work -- didn't take much for them to ping off, but I only spent a pound so no huge loss. I'll be ordering some of those little childlock things next pay day I suppose, though that's not for awhile so let's hope I have no escapees in the meantime :P

Shame they didn't work, thanks for letting us know though because i were going to try it. You could do what i have done with the wire. You could probably even use a pipe cleaner. Its still working fab at the mo (to keep Squibbles in and kids out!). No escapes here, yet

Where did you get the plastic that goes along the front to block substrate? I got the same viv and I am just using card right now.

Your cage is so pretty though! Once I have enough money I will get her a bigger wooden wheel too, but heres my setup:

The plastic along the front is just 2mm clear perspex which i got from a local plastic shop for a couple of pounds. I just searched google for plastic shops nearby and then contacted them. If you look for one in your local area and give them a ring im sure they'll be more than happy to cut a strip for you to whatever size you want. I used aquarium sealant to stick it in place and its working brill
