I agree. Dont change it yet. Have some pleasure from the work you have done up to now.

So Gino escaped the vivarium this morning.

I'm not sure how, as I haven't handled him for the past few days (been unwell and I wasn't wanting them to catch it), so there has been no substrate recently trapped or anything.

Thankfully he's not that great of an escape artist, as every time he escapes he either sits there looking at me or runs past me and makes himself easy to catch, lol. He was sitting just to the side of Domino's vivarium looking a bit bewildered.

Regardless I think I'm making a trip to poundland to get some sticky hooks. :P

This is what I had on my wife's computer desk drawer to stop the cat opening it. A7 2 X BABY CHILD KIDS SAFETY CABINET DOOR FRIDGE DRAWER LOCK | eBay
The drawer was an easy glide and one of the cats we had found it easy to open and play with the stuff in it, flicking them all over the floor. One of these put a stop to it.

Ahh those are a cute idea, they just stick on?

The only concern is the price, since I'd need 4 of them that's nearly £8. I'm pretty broke until I get paid next month which is why I was thinking of the poundland hooks haha. Might do the PL hooks temporarily and then replace them with those, they look a lot nicer.

There are two in a pack. £3.74 for 4. I would send you one but I threw it away when we moved house, thinking i will not need them again. Not sure if they are available in pound shops. They do just stick on and they are very sticky. Hard to pull off.

A 5 pack even cheaper http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Adhesive-B...item4620bcb5bf
Click on options and select 'long clock x 5'

Naughty gino. Was the glass door open when you went to put him back?

Those hooks are from china and could take a while to get here but they do seem like a good solution.

Oh yeah, sorry. I put lowest price. I hate the way ebay has it set up that everything is in china, USA, Australia, and the rest of the worls. I have ebay . co. uk and it still gives me the rest of the world. I have complained to them loads of times and even told them to stop having kindergarden kids designing the web site as it is going backwards instead of forwards.
