Cool Zooplus wooden loft house - review

Agh, what can I say about this cage! It's a very "nice" cage to look at, however after having it for 2 months, I wish I would have purchased a more practical one. It cost a lot of money for what it is, and it isn't really all that suitable for hamsters unless you make adjustments to it.
There is meant to be 3 shelves in the cage, however I had to take one out as it was unsafe as hamster kept jumping off and could have potentially hurt himself.

As the cage is wooden, you would think it would stink, but it doesn't. My hammy has urinated all over it and it doesn't smell, it just stains abit, but I would rather that, than a smelly cage! The cage is fairly easy to clean, there is a draw that you can slide out at the bottom, and you can just empty all bedding that way.
The most annoying think about this cage is that you can't really put their wheel on the shelving, as it bangs against the wood, even if you stick it down with tape, therefore I had to put his WW at the bottom. (Which just about fits):

Overall, I probably WOULDNT recommend this cage, it's a very nice looking cage, but it's too high and there's much wasted space in height. It's also dangerous if you do not remove the top shelf. It's also hard/near impossible yo catch hamster from the bottom, so it's a faff around.
My Archie seems to enjoy his cage though, all he cares about is his wheel! Lol.

I also wouldn't recommend if your hamster is a chewer. My other hamster was placed in this cage for a few hours, and he chewed some of the wood, I think it would be quite easy for a ham to chew it's way out in a week or 2.

I will attach some pictures of it if people do not know this cage.
There is a large house behind his wheel)
