But then it just gets replaced any way shops see them as a product they get profit from not as a living creature. Well not all pet shops but a few. How about big plastic storage boxes that can be converted into a bin cage there a lot cheaper

Janiv, I understand that you have used alot of money on that cage, and it is to bad that you cant find good cages in Israel. While your cage might do as a carrier, I am affraid it is not big enough for your hamster to live in permanently, even tho it gets alot of time out of the cage. I dont say this to hurt you or to be mean but to help you give your hamster what it needs ^_^

The reallity is that no less than 40x70 cm is enough space for one dwarf, and you should always go bigger if you can... So maybe you should make a bincage for your furry friend? They are cheap and if well made makes for a secure and comfy home for your hammie

Good luck to you whatever you decide! Xx

Hi Janiv, its not a good idea to place your hamster in that cage for the long run it isn't big enough. Plastic bin cages are a really good replacement for that cage, could you get your money back on the cage ? If you do use the cage it might be easy to add a bin on to it by the tube, then your hamster will have a great home. there is plenty of ideas on the forum. hope that helps.

Thanks,
I'll try to replace this one.
Anyway, in Israel you don't get money back in cash but you can use it to buy other things in the shop.

Would you please let me know if one of the following cages is suitable for a dwarf hamster (please note 2 pages):

רשת גונגל | מזון ומוצרים לכלבים| חתולים| דגים| מכרסמים ועוד //

* the site is in Hebrew but you can see dimensions and images (sorry about that)

Thanks

they all r on the small side could you add two together. or mesh a larger cage so the hamster cant escape.

I'll try.
There is another option, but I'm not sure if it works and if it is good enough.
There is a second hand cage for sell of the same manufacturer:
Small Animal: Habitats || The Roll-A-Coaster, The Palace, The Paradisio - JW Pet
The model is the Palace.

1. Do you think I can connect them?
2. Will it be enough space for a dwarf ham?

Thanks,

You could probably conect them IF they have tubes going out of the cage and are the same make. It seems like your hamster will get abit more space to run around if you connect those... Dont you get Ferplast or Savic cages over there?
