you don't place a nest any where, I find the best thing to do if just place some bedding in and let the hamster decide where they want to put it

Oh even though in another thread they were asking about suitable cage sizes and was given plenty of info but still ended up getting this cage

I still don't have a hamster inside.
The sales representative told us this cage is enough for dwarf hamster.
All other suggested cages are not being imported to Israel. It is very difficult to find them here. I'm still looking for a substitute but couldn't find one.

All hamster business is pretty slow in Israel, I can't find good bedding (only wood based), no good food, and not a good cage.

BTW - this cage costs $40 in US, but around $90 in Israel (and in Israel 1 $ worth much more than in the US, so it feels like $300)...

If that was the situation here I wouldn't get a hamster, as it is unfair on them but that is just my opinion

Well, if you see how they hold them in some stores, you would take as many as you can...
