Oh its brilliant that the Detolf is available in the UK!
Maybe some of you like the Idea of the Detolf Hamstercage - it's cheap and has brilliant sizes

I remember some people talking about it on here before, not sure if anyone finally made one or not.
Nappo, another German member, brought up the Detolf a while back Detlof - Ikea
They are definitely great ideas for cages. And I think can even be found to be quite cheap on eBay!!

Very cheap for what it is thats for sure! Im another person who doesnt have the space for one though :L Maybe one day I might. I wouldnt want to keep an untame hamster in one of those though they would be impossible to catch for taming!

It's not in the Ike any Germany anymore? What a shame!!
I have a detolf for my two roborovski girls and I love it. It's the best cage that I have ever had.

I love the idea of this but I've only ever seen it used for dwarves. Does anyone use it for a Syrian? (I'm not sure an 11" wheel would fit? )
