Default Zoozone 2 review

Slightly different, I did it on video;

Here are the pros and cons stated in the movie

PROS
• Simple layout which offers the best space for toys etc
• The size alone is fantastic. It measures 100 x 51 x 37cm
• Plastic allows the best view inside
• Ventilation is good as there is a wire lid
• Can accommodate up to 3 dwarfs of any kind
• Makes a great cage for nursing hamsters
• Easy to clean
• Easy access through the roof
And no bar chewing

CONS
• Expensive
• Demands space
• Lid will need meshing as the bar spacing is too big
• Steps will need to be placed under the water bottle as its positioned too high for hamsters to reach
• More bedding to be used to cover the floor
• No shelves or levels

Also the lid is a PITA when you open it as it can fall straight through which is dangerous!

I am trying to convince Boyfriend that we need a cage or aquarium this size for the robo ladies. So far I have failed but I will ''casually'' leave this page open on the pc for him to see... Thumbs crossed!

only thing is if youadd a level, then if your hamster is called Mimi then they will bar chew half lying on their back :/

Just wanted to add that 4 dwarfs would be fine in the zoozone 2
As its more advisable for even numbered groups.

Great review x

I agree, and they can be found cheaper second hand too. Not as expensive as a HH

tbh I wasn't too sure, I didn't want to get flacked for saying it was ok for 4 and overcrowding. Will change that

And thanks for the nice comments and taking your time to watch it x

This cage is really fantastic. Absolutely solved my Syrian's bar chewing problem (she chewed on the plastic) but some lemon solved that. It's currently housing one winter white and I think she likes all the space she gets.

The bedding concern is definite. A 10L bag of bedding (Carefresh Ultra) barely covers the floor of the cage. I actually had to mix two bags of bedding together. And even then I bought another bag just to give the cage some extra depth at the side of the cage. That said, the space provided is simply insane. For me it cost about RM211. And an aquarium this size costs about RM 400 and is a lot more heavy. Great enclosure!
