Researching Breeding Genetics
Hi, I'm trying to get into breeding hamsters but I'm having problems finding easy-to-read articles on the subject. Looking at breeding Campbell's Russians, Winter Whites, and Robos primarily, but might have a pair of Syrians too (once I figure out what I want to work with).
I just want to find good articles/videos on breeding the right way and understanding the genetics of the hamsters.

I have a book called Hamsterlopaedia. It has some information on genetics which I've only scanned and I couldn't tell you how comprehensive it is as hamster genetics isn't siomething I know much about. It is an older book so some information is out of date. For example it doesn't list the new Roborovski mutations. Your best bet would be to contact an established breeder for mentorship.
