Default Tortoiseshells

Ok so i have a black tort banded female, she's being bred to a black male. She only has 2 yellow spots on her, is there any way to breed for better markings? Thanks.

It's really just luck - she may well produce lovely well marked torts. You tend to get better torts when you add in a pattern I find so having a band or a dominant spot makes the tort patches clearer. It's the same with bands and dominant spots. A terrible banded parent can have lovely bands come up in the pups and vice versa!
