Hello again! It's been a little while since I last posted here but I'm back with some good news.
Aries was one of only two pups born at Vectis in 2018, and now he's had a litter of his own with wife Metis. Both are normal Roborovskis though Aries's father is a blue pied.
The pups were born on 12th February so eyes will be open soon. So far the glimpses I've seen all look like normals which is what I was hoping for.
I think there are about three or four pups. They are very loud, as robo pups tend to be! No escapees yet but they'll be 14 days old on Tuesday so really not long.
Nice to hear your news Vectis and congrats on the new robo pups

Congrats on your litter of Robos - hope everything is continuing to go well. Looking forward to meeting them when they are old enough!
Never knew robo pups were very loud!
The robos are the loudest of the pups in the nest - though the duprasi pups were a very close second! Often you hardly know Chinese pups are there as they don't tend to squeak much.
So, the Armets kindly opened their eyes at 13 days old. There are 4 of them - 3 girls and 1 boy which is great as we needed girls. They are a bit tricky to photograph so I took a video. This is them in the playbox which is set up as a confidence course (an approach used in T Touch). They only had a couple of minutes so they didn't get too tired. In the future I'll change the items and surfaces so they can explore different objects.
They're gorgeous. I didn't realise how small they were till I saw them next to the size of the bendy stick bridge! Love robo back legs and big back feet
