Equipments for breeding Hamsters?
Hello everyone! I saw the wikipedia of Hamstercentral for breeding Hamsters, and I'd like to ask some few questions.
I don't plan on making Hamsteries but I want to breed Hamsters in the future once I research enough. There aren't a lot of Hamster Breeders in Aargau Region of Switzerland, and I was thinking if I could breed a pure-bred Djungarian(Winter Whites) in the future.
For what I plan is I will get them 8 inch wheels and two hide outs as well as ceramic food dish and water bottles.
For the hide outs will a basic wooden house and a bendy bridge be enough?
and are 3 100x50x40 cm Terrariums enough for them? I might still have my older cages by the time I do so.
Are 80x40x40 cm Terrariums enough as well?

Re: Equipments for breeding Hamsters?
I am slightly unsure of what you mean. You will need all equipment necessary to a pet hamster, minimum + sized cages etc..
You will just need to make sure you have lots of spare cages available and equipment like enrichment, toys, food bowls, water bottles, hides etc.. in case you can't re-home the pups in time and need to split them from mum (I don't know how long dwarf species can stay with their mother for).
For a nursing tank/bin you won't need any wheels, hides, or many toys etc.. It's usually quite a plain set up because pups can easily get injured on the toys and things.
How much equipment you need completely depends on how often you decide to have litters and how many hamsters you want to keep.
