Default What colour is my Syrian boy?

Hey everyone! I have some knowledge of genetics and inheritance, but unfortunately only in relation to cats and not Syrian hamsters. I'm sure there are experts here, so please get as technical as you like - I'd love to learn!

I just got a young longhaired satin Syrian boy, and I'm not quite sure what colour he is - I was told by the person I got him from that he's recessive dappled, but I'm unsure of what the base colour is. He doesn't seem to be red-eyed. He's about 5 weeks old but quite tiny - smaller than his littermates as well.

His dad is (brownish) sable with satin longhair, and his mum is a dominant spot. If it helps, the last photo shows some/all of his littermates.

Here are some photos:

He has some ticking on his head so he isn't a white. Also black eyes. I'm not familiar with RD in the UK so hopefully someone else will be able to tell you.
He is young so some more colour may well develop as he loses the baby coat.
He's very sweet

Thank you for the response! He appreciates the compliment I'm sure

RD? I'm not familiar with the term I'm afraid. I'm also not actually in the UK... just a little wary of sharing too much on the internet

I also didn't know more colour might develop! He's only my second Syrian, and my first's colours remained pretty constant. I'll keep a close eye on any changes then.

I also just realised that I'd posted a duplicate post under the Syrian Hamster forum - apologies, I thought I'd done something wrong with this post somehow as I didn't see it show up until now! Please do feel free to delete my other post, sorry for double-posting!

Recessive dapple - we don't have that gene in the UK is what I meant (well not much of it anyway so it is not a standard colour)
Colours do tend to deepen or develop (or sometimes they pale) as the hamster gets older. They usually moult the baby coat about 10 weeks of age.
