I don't give pups names unless I am keeping them so only ones kept are named. However I name them after Hebrew names and alphabetically. So I would need to find a name which means eclipse AND it would need to not be a letter already used.
I have a big book of Hebrew baby names but find I am almost using many offered so am doing the names with a two behind them LOL
And yes BP was closest even including guesses on my FB page LOL.

Re: ST's D-18 Litter
The Hebrew word for Eclipse is pronounced leeKOY ma o ROYT. But I think Kamar is nicer for a hamster (obscuration). I think I love the www.

Re: ST's D-18 Litter
ST's D-17 litter will be 4 weeks old this coming Tuesday so they are still with Momma for a few more days. These photos are them at just 3 weeks old. I was a bit surprised at what we ended up with and need to test the sire of this litter to see if he is the Cream carrier or if the Dam is the one carrying cream. By Pedigrees it is most likely the Sire These are the males and their sire ST's Chavivi. Chavivi is a Black Eyed Honey Black Hetero Polywhite

This guy would have been my Keeper but I have a younger litter with a better Chocolate male in it which is Homo Poly White which will help me with my goals.
This next Male is hard to see he is not a Black Eyed white due to him being a Cream Carrier, and Hetero Poly White, AND dominant Spot to boot. His only colored fur is on his head and is too much coloring to be a Homo Poly White Dominant Spot. He is still very much a cutey and is sure to be snatched up by one of my Buyers.

The last Male is my Keeper though I will need to work on removing the cream carried gene. He is the best temperament male and is a good size. He is a Cream carrying Hetero Poly White Black Eyed Honey Black He has the most noticeable coloring from above and behind

He also likes to give you the raspberry LOL His eyes look red in this shot because of the Dominant Spot and Poly white genes. If I could post more then 5 I would show you his bum as that is where all his spots can be seen.

Next Two post are the females and since there are 6 of them I will do 3 on the first post and 3 on the last post

Re: ST's D-18 Litter
The last 3 are all Dominant Spot and my Keeper is a very unique pattered little lady.
First up is a Cream carrying Hetero Poly white Black Eyed Honey Black Dominant Spot. Most of her colored fur can be found on her head around her ears and eyes But it didn't show up well in this photo

Next is the only pup to most likely not gotten the poly white gene and is quite a beauty marking wise. She is a Cream carrying Black Eyed Honey Black Dominant spot.

And last but far from least is my Keeper girl who by the amount of coloring on her head is Hetero Poly White Black Eyed Honey Black Dominant Spot and by the darker spotting is possibly cream free but time will tell on this when she is bred to a cream free Chocolate male in the future.
From the side she looks all the world like a BEW

BUT a view of her back side shows a different story. Gotta love her one spot back LOL

This bunch will be sex split this Tuesday and continue their handling skills, Then the pet people will pick their pet and before long I will be down to my two keepers.

Re: ST's D-18 Litter
Congrats on your gorgeous pups and I'm so thrilled that Mum and all pups are thriving. I love all of this fluffiness and enjoy learning more about their genetics. You sure have two amazing keepers, and I'm sure that this litter will make many pet owners very, VERY happy and excited.
Congrats to BP also for winning the guessing game; what fun!!!
