Default Roboroksi color question

Can somebody please point me to information about these Roborovski's I just bought? They are from the pet store, but I've never seen anything other than wild type agouti Robos in pet stores! I was holding off getting into Robos until I at least found white-face, but I think I went way beyond that

They look like pied or marbled robos.

Well, yes, I see the pattern, I just didn't know there were gray robos.

I think people are breeding the grey & white robos & calling them marbled. I don't know how long it has been around? I'm thinking it's somewhat new? They are adorable!

Aren't they cute!? I need to find them a normal male so I can study the inheritance pattern. I picked the two with no gray on their faces in hopes that they also have white face.

The husky white face is a different color altogether.
Are the two living together as a pair?

Yes, it is, which is why I'm hoping they carry it in addition to whatever else they have for the mottled grey phenotype.

I got them at a Petsmart from a tank with about 7 females, only one normal agouti.

I have had one pure white & now I have 2 white husky robos. The fur on their backs have grey roots with white tips. Otherwise they look all white

That sounds beautiful! Of course I just stopped at another petsmart and found an agouti husky female.

They are a new mutation actually; there are some in the UK and some in the USA so far. Janice from HHH is trying to breed it and we've been trying to get our hands on it in Canada.
