Default Majala Litter (Syrians)

The first Syrian litter of 2017 at Vectis is due on Thursday and I'm getting a little excited.

Mum is Duncton's Alabaster at Vectis, known as Basti. She's a short haired golden who may carry dark grey. Her head isn't her strong point but she's a lovely big chunky girl.

Dad is Wyeside's Majestic at Vectis, known as Jester. He's a short haired dark grey who has a nice head and didn't start browning until he was a year old. He's had two previous litters - one with my girl and one with one of Tristar's girls. His son from the latter litter has just had a litter himself. Jester's also been paired with another Tristar girl who hopefully has recently delivered, and he's currently off on loan to a different hamstery! It's a tough life when you get a name for being a nice dark grey lad

I'm expecting all short haired hammies, probably all goldens but perhaps some dark greys if Basti carries it too. I know Jester carries cinnamon so I wouldn't be surprised if cinnie pops up.

Do you think Basti may be cooking a puppy or two?!

Hmmm not sure, are you sure she just didn't eat all the pies? :P
Congrats though, it's nice to have a litter after waiting so long!

Jester is so handsome and a lovely colour too, I can see why he's so popular with the ladies lol

Good luck and I hope all goes well for Basti

Basti has a nest full of wriggly pinkies! She's chosen to nest in the corner of her cage, after pushing her nest box and log bridge out of the way, daft girl.
