Re: Cuddlesworth Family
So we're kinda worried about Mr. Cuddlesworth. He's been doing fine in his new home, running on his wheel, found a new house to nest in. He's been eating and drinking water just fine. But whenever we take him out to play.. the past 2 days he's just been.. slow. Not very interested in anything. Used to crawl all over us and run across the couch and now he just sits there.. He's so calm. It's nice and all, but still kinda worried. Any suggestions?

Re: Cuddlesworth Family
It's only been a few days since you moved him into his new home so give him a bit more time to adjust, keep an eye on him just in case something is wrong but it is probably just the change & he needs time to get used to things.

Re: Cuddlesworth Family
How old is Mr C? I have had a few hams who suddenly went from very energetic and running around everywhere, to laid back and preferring to sit and wash them selves. It seemed to happen at a certain age - probably 10-12 weeks old. Maybe a few months old... I can't remember! Anyway, he's probably fine. He may also be less active due to not constantly being in the presence of Mrs C's scent.

Re: Cuddlesworth Family
No idea how old he is. The fiancé didn't know or think to ask at the petstore, just picked them out and brought em home. But thanks so much for the quick responses and advice. I'll keep an eye out

Re: Cuddlesworth Family
I'd give him more time to settle into his bachelor pad, he might just need extra time now he's been separated from Mrs C.

Re: Cuddlesworth Family
So it's been about 12 days since the big day. Mr. C has adjusted nicely, becoming more curious and playful at playtimes.
Mrs. C has been taking wonderful care of her pups. At first I thought there were only 6, then I was for sure there were 7, and now I'm definite there are 8! She has not eaten any (yet) so yay! Poor Mrs. C has her hands full trying to keep them all in the nest xD
They are so freakin adorable running all over each other and piling under mom to sleep!!
Still no pics yet, and no touching! Can't wait!!

That's brilliant, happy family all round. Can you tell what colours the babies are yet? I think it's so exciting.

Re: Cuddlesworth Family
Congrats to you and the entire Cuddlesworth hamily. I'm so happy that the delivery went well and Mrs. Cuddlesworth and all eight pups are doing well. What a relief and how truly exciting for you all. That's wonderful that Mr. Cuddlesworth is also adjusting well and becoming more like himself now. I hope that all continues to go well for all the hams. I look forward to getting to know all of them when the waiting time is over. Congrats again!

I'm not entirely sure on colors yet for sure. But from a guess I would say most of them is going to be the same as Mrs. C, maybe 2 white ones like Mr. C, and I think maybe one will be the color of Mrs. with two white stripes on the shoulders. Again, can't be certain just yet. Will definitely take pics when eyes are open!!!!!
