Re: ST's C-17 litter
I see! Adar is absolutely gorgeous with all that thick fur. Bet he is very soft and cuddly to hold.
All the pups are gorgeous. Such a cute expression in that last photo!
Will any of the pups be LH?

No Both are Short haired but both will carry for Long hair so will be able to produce Both coat types in the future. Ebba is most likely not carrying the LH gene but with so few pups that can't be determined. She will get a break and then her mate will be a Chocolate Dominant Spot who carries for the Poly White gene and the LH gene.

Re: ST's C-17 litter
After sitting down and doing some serious thinking I decided I did not need two males from this litter and decided to rehome the Black pup whom had been named Elken but has since been given a new name by his loving pet home family.
The Black Eyed Honey black boy remains and has been named Honi. Honi is bigger then Elken was and a tiny bit more cuddly. My plans are to keep only Yellow males and non Yellow females for the future so I can focus more on the Homo Polywhite Dominant spot and not double up on the Yellow genes. A few too good to pass on Yellow Females will be kept in order to produce future Yellow males as well.
All future keepers will be ,or carry the Rust gene, and all will be at least Hetero Poly White. BIG changes for ST's in the near future.
I will now start a thread in Syrian Hamsters for Honi .
