Re: Willow Tree Pupdate
Awwww you're making me want a chinesey GhostsInSnow! How do they compare to Syrians in terms of temperament? Are they more or less cuddly, would you say?

I've owned everything except Campbells and I have to say Chinesey's are my favourite so I may be a tad biased I do think they're more cuddly than Syrians in that they're more content to stay in one spot for a while. In my own personal opinion and experience, you can't get much better than a male Chinesey for snuggles

They sound gorgeous. If only my mum didn’t have her “one hamster at a time” rule. Actually, it’s probably for the best that she does or our entire house would be over run by hamsters of every species and colour combination conceivable

Re: Willow Tree Pupdate
Haha I live at home at the moment and my mum originally had that rule as well, I always respected it as it's her house and her rules. Then her and my dad surprised me with a 2nd ham and then they gradually let me get a few more then I said that when I moved out I wanted to breed hammies and they've let me now. As long as my numbers don't get out of hand and everyone still gets the love, care and environment they need (and I keep everyone clean) then they don't mind. I know not everyone's parents are as laid back and animal mad as mine though lol

Re: Willow Tree Pupdate
Your parents saw from that first hamster how loving, caring and dedicated you were and knew that you would be able to handle more.

I'm so exited to see the Poaks in a couple of days. Glad everything's going well with them too

Re: Willow Tree Pupdate
The Poaks opened their eyes today and there are definitely 6 pups. Now I know what's there I can explain why I'm so excited about them. There are 2 Normals and the other 4 are Stripey. The Stripeys basically look like Black Eyed Whites except they have a little bit of colour on their ears and a dorsal stripe. It's not a recognised pattern over here yet so I'm excited to have an experiment and see if it can become recognised or not. Anyway, the real reason we're all here:

Re: Willow Tree Pupdate
They are gorgeous! Can't wait to see them grow. The striped boy has a particularly cute expression.
