Still no puppies from Lily and today was her last due date so we're off to the vets tomorrow in case there's something more sinister going on I'm still keeping everything crossed for her to have pups tonight. She's a special little lady to me so all I'm concerned with right now is that she's okay. Healthy pups would just be a bonus.

I saw Hazel's puppies through the bottom of the cage today and there looks to be quite a few wrigglies in there and when I say wrigglies I mean VERY wriggly I think they'll give poor Hazel the run around when they start leaving the nest
Another shock pupdate is that Possum also looks to be pregnant. Possum was put with Oakley after Lily fell out with him and Possum only stayed with him for a day (and wouldn't let him anywhere near her) so I assumed it hadn't been successful. I'm looking forward to this litter as Possum is technically a dom spot but she is entirely white with just a stripe on her back and Oakley is a normal so it'll be interesting to see if I get some regular spotties and normals or if I get a "stripey" chinese or two

I hope Lily's OK. It's so worrying when mamma-hams might be poorly. Fingers crossed for pups tonight.

Thank you all. I'll be phoning the vets first thing for her.

On a slightly shocking, slightly more positive note, Possum decided to surprise me and have her litter at some point between 2pm this afternoon and now. Just checked on her and she came to the side of the cage to say hello, leaving a rather large nest of wrigglies o.O

Thank you everyone.
Unfortunately Lily deteriorated a lot overnight and when I took her to the vets this morning we discussed everything, the main possibilities are that it was either pups dying in the womb or closed Pyometra and as she just appeared to have been progressing through her pregnancy as normal, there's no way we could've caught it sooner.
Unfortunately she wasn't strong enough to even consider surgery for, or I would absolutely have paid anything to have her spayed and back home with me, so I made the heartbreaking decision to have her pts.
She'll live on through both litters in a way as Lily's brother is dad to Hazel's pups and Lily's boyfriend is dad to Possum's pups.
Thank you for your well wishes for Lily, hopefully I'll have more positive things to post here over the next few weeks.
