Sorry for the lack of pupdates over the last couple of weeks - it's been rather busy here as I'm sure you can appreciate!

Most of the litters are now in single sex cages, with only the Keliptep/Ptrapteps together (more on that later).

The BEW boy I didn't keep went off to his new home at the Cardiff show.

Norsands
I haven't yet decided if I'm keeping the normal girl as well as her spotty sister, but the normal male has been offered to my waiting list.

Redlios
There are 4 girls and 1 boy in this litter. I'm keeping a girl, and already have plans about who to pair her with when she's old enough!

Bodillas
The smallest of the 8 didn't make it, but there are still 7 pups in this litter. That's a big litter for a Chinese hamster. There are 4 girls and 3 boys.

Mum Gunilla has done well but needs to regain some condition.

and a sneaky winter white update! All 3 of the Kittiden girls have gone to their new homes as has one boy. One boy is staying here and the other has been offered to the waiting list.

Kelipteps I and II, and Ptrapteps
You may remember that Keli and Ptraci were both in with Pteppic in my plan to start a colony. Pteppic was removed after Ptraci had her litter as I didn't want the girls to be overwhelmed with pups. There are 3 pups in the Keliptep I litter, and 2 in the Ptraptep litter. Just as the younger litter's eyes were opening I had a surprise - Keli had had a second litter. She's the bigger of the 2 girls so well able to cope with it, and she won't be having any more litters now. The Keliptep II litter are a week old now. I can't wait until their eyes open so I can get all the pups out! Ptraci hasn't had a second litter thankfully and doesn't look pregnant so hopefully won't.

So, that's all the pups! I have some more pairings to do after Emley show and hopefully folk on the waiting list will soon get back to me so these pups can start going home when they're old enough.

So many beautiful little faces Sorry to hear about the little Bodilla pup too. The colony is really intriguing to me, It will be interesting to hear how things go with them as the pups grow

Oh Vectis your pups are just so precious. I'm so so jealous of how sweet they look, and I'm sure they are! It's very much my dream to fly some of your little ones over to Canada! I'm sure they'd love Maple Syrup and Poutine!
