Oh no they can have more. I think the record is about 27! Leedshams had 17 in one litter but this is the most we have ever had at Custard.

Oh yes it was amazing to see (thread here) and it was a lovely surprise, but Rosie was a big hamster, so I think Halloumi definitely wins with regard to the litter to mum size ratio

AWWW I've read the whole thread of the stansies and they were utterly cute! Your pics were spot on Leedsgurl. The one of the hamsters kinda kissing would melt the coldest heart, and the one of the little baby sleeping in your hand was even better. I didn't know if I should answer in that post or in this one, I thought it was better not to refloat and old post, so I hope souffle doesn't mind a little bit of off topic.

How do you call the dark coat with clear circles around the eyes? they're gorgeous...

Now I want even more to see new babies. Hurry up Halluperts!!

Looking forward to lots of lovely baby hamsters. I have a soft spot for cream hamsters (my first ever hamster was a smooth coated black eyed cream).

Wow! That lovely news to hear she has 14 similarly sized pups sounds like she being a fantastic mother. Can't wait to see all that cuteness!
