Congratulations souffle - I'm looking forward to seeing the gorgeous pups of the handsome Rupert (wonderful photo) and the beautiful Halloumi (I love her satin coat).

The baby hamsters are all doing very well. We 'think' there are 13 pups as they now all stampede out when they hear the fresh platters being served. We now have some little slitty eyes peeping out so it won't be long till we can post some pictures. Halloumi has done so well with such a large litter as she is not the biggest of hamsters. She has almost given up trying to carry them back to the nest as there are just too many for her to keep up with now!

There was one hiding. She has 14 pups!!! Most have eyes open now and they are very evenly sized. She's done an amazing job with them! We have never had such a large litter before.

Wow! Fourteen pups is definitely a lot, Halloumi has clearly done a wonderful job mothering too if they're all even sized! Well done!
