Re: The M17s have arrived!
Great news Mini Wheat's weight has gone up.
I do love your name choosing.

I also have hammys with a couple of those names. You must be a Starbucks girl That is my favorite coffee shop! I once had a hamster named Café Caramel Machiato. Had a Coconut and a Espresso, now one named Latte.

Re: The M17s have arrived!
I totally understand. I personally think every creature in our household deserves a name, even if they get changed afterward or don't stay with us.

Re: The M17s have arrived!
I'm glad that MW is doing better.
You have an incredible imagination! It's a good system. Now I understand the M17. I would feel bad If I had to change their names, but to be honest I would like to be the one who name my ham... so I would be in a hard spot!! But anyway... It would be a cheap price to pay for those little cuties that you breed! I saw the waitlist and it's huge. I don't know how you manage everything besides your job!

Re: The M17s have arrived!
Everyone is doing well. MW joined The Pipsqueakery and is now named Glitch. She's "so ugly she's adorable" and I must agree. Everyone loves her. She was 26g when I left.
I'm not really impressed with the other pups, their temperament hasn't been too great. I'm keeping Molly provisionally (I've learned not to skip a keeper per litter) and she is one of the much friendlier pups. I'm planning to keep these guys until 7wks old to make sure I have lots more time with them.

Re: The M17s have arrived!
Aww total bliss hearing about MW Glitch's progress.
Maybe over the next couple of weeks the other pups temperament will improve. Fingers crossed.

Re: The M17s have arrived!
I hope so. We have a few more weeks with them. They were already better once I split mumma Jubi from them, so I'm glad I made the choice to retire her.
Baby Glitch; she is absolutely ugly, but so cute because of it.
My keeper Molly. Her temperament isn't too bad. Her head is an improvement on dad's but not as much as I'd like. I'll see how she grows and consider petting her out if Jubilee's sister, Jolene/Hermione gives me better pups.
Macaroni is also pretty brave and sweet.
Tiny Toot Minestrone.
Hands up! Baby hands up! Muesli is a bit more skittish. But she's pretty.
Oops. Matcha didn't get her teddy photo up. She's cute, but probably the worst tempered of the bunch.
They're definitely better than pet shop hamsters, but I guess I've been so blessed with good temperaments, haha.

Re: The M17s have arrived!
I broke my phone last week so I couldn't follow your insta account every day, but I'm so happy to hear that everything is ok, and they look beautiful. Those photos are to die for

Thanks! <3 They're sweet, even if they're shy. I worked with some last night. Molly and Macaroni were walking over my hands, the others a little less so.
Here is Matcha:
Alex from The Pipsqueakery got a good photo of Glitch's teeth. She's 32g and seems to be doing well.
Photo is attached. Bottom teeth can be clipped easily, but we're hoping the top teeth just fall out.
