Alright, let's get some photos.

Girls upon being split.

Keeper Cordelia. Her type is so nice, like her mum's. I am beyond thrilled to be seeing improvement in my type.

Keeper Lindt. See above. I love him. Adore him. His LH is so even right now too, he's definitely the best boy.

The Het-ED girls are getting nose patches!

Lollipop and Lavender leave tonight.

Bye bye Lollipop and Lavender. I'm going to miss the starbabies when they go to their new homes. How is Lentil getting on (i have a soft spot for him and would hamnap him if only I didn't live so far away)?

AWWWW they are so cute! And their coat is very special, at least for me, I don't see that kind of coat around here at all. I would hamnap them too If I could

He is doing well! He's still the biggest of the pups I believe. He looks funny in the bin with his brothers since he's the only short hair boy, haaaah. His new mum is a long time follower of ours and very enthusiastic for him.

Thanks! I don't know if ED is still in Europe... I hope so. But they are definitely unique.

So the girls are keeping me on my toes. I went to get Lavender last night as she was being adopted, and much to my surprise, she wasn't there! We have condo units we keep our main hamster in, and we had two extra ones, so I put Lasagna in one half and Lavender in the other half.

They were in the top left two (that look empty in the photo, they are there, but not anymore).

Soooooo, I was panicking because where in the world is she! Andrew (Hamdad/my Partner) comes over and looks. Then I look into Lasagna's unit. Much to my surprise, TWO golden torts walk out of a little house and I'm standing there in shock.

Watch the video with sound. :P

The two chewed a hole through the divider and decided to snuggle. Thank GOD they are both female, both pups, and neither one was the trouble maker! What tiny monkeys. We're going to patch the hole and make sure no one can do the same thing (it's impossible on the other units, this was the only unit not completed fully).

Anyways, the girls went home last night and both of their new mums' were just smitten. This litter has been beautiful for temperament. While we were doing paperwork for Lavender, she took a snooze on Andrew's arm, woke up a little bit, then started bruxxing. Talk about a happy hammy!

Both have settled in well at their new homes. Lollipop went to an awesome bin cage, with one of our bucket wheels (10.5", silent and safe). Lavender now has an aquarium with an 8.5" comfort wheel, though they may end up buying one of our wheels too.

No adoptions tonight, I need to prepare for tomorrow. Tomorrow Lipton (now Link), Lychee, and Linguini (Iggy) will be leaving. Link is going to go live with the lovely gal who adopted Orion, Cady's sister, from my C15 litter. He will be going out on breeding contract as he is wonderful and also a recessive dappled carrier. I believe she has a 75gal aquarium for him, and she's getting one of our wheels.

Lychee is going to a long time adopter and follower! I can't wait for her to get a pup.

Linguini is going to another previous adopter... unfortunately Jasmine, named Piper, from our J16 litter passed away earlier in March. We were so sad to hear it, and offered to pay for a necropsy, if her mum was comfortable with it, to find out what happened. Her mum is a student of the best animal sciences university in Ontario, arguably Canada, and is pursuing a master's in animal nutrition. She endeavors to be a breeder soon, and I've given her my permission to breed Iggy should she wish to, and I'm happy to help her with that process.

Phew. Busy few days, especially as we still have to make wheels and snuggle sacks for some of these hammies!

Process for me tonight includes photographing the pups leaving, for their pedigrees. Inputting weights and printing pedigrees, contracts, breeding contracts, care sheets, and then ensuring they have their "SBH take home pack" which includes two takeaway boxes, one of mix, one of blocks, and a pouch of treats.

Here is a baby JD modelling the new digs:

In our effort to be ethical, we also want to be ethical to the environment and reduce our carbon footprint. The boxes are recyclable.

Aww your keepers. I love them both. I love Iggy too. Sounds like they are all going to five star homes which must be lovely for you.

Thank you for letting me know how Lentil is getting on Hekomi I'm pleased that he's going to a lovely home even if it isn't mine lol.

The girls certainly sound like they are keeping you on your toes, I did laugh at the video.

I love all the effort you make with rehoming your litters and all the little extras they can have like the snuggle sacks and wheels

Thank you guys! I love them a lot so it helps knowing they go to really stellar homes. Most of our adopters are all on instagram too, so I've been able to watch and follow their progress. Everyone is thrilled with them and that makes me oh so happy.

Lentil's adopter unfortunately backed out last minute (like four hours before adoption). She found out she couldn't adopt a second hamster due to her landlord constricting #s. She is staying on the list, and I found a home for Lentil with a good friend who was on the list, but had passed because she wanted a pup from Starbuck (not Jubilee, haaaah).

He's off now and doing great!

I'm glad you could find another adopter quick. You did such a great work! They are luck to have you as a second mom
