Just a quick update to say the babies are doing really well. They are 12 days old now and I have seen a couple of escapees but Penny quickly puts them back in the nest I still don't know how many there are but I don't usually like to count until they are older anyway.

Aww bless Penny & her babies, she's taken to motherhood so brilliantly!
I feel excited that we'll soon get to see them.

The babies are 15 days old now and all come out at mealtimes to devour everything in around 2 seconds. There are 12 babies and we think we have;

5 x cream banded
3 x cream
1 x cinnamon banded
3 x cinnamon

I've started to see some little eyes starting to open but not all, so once they are all open I can properly introduce them
