Thank you hun, she is such a special girl to me, a real heart hammie. I can't wait to see pups. It feels like an absolute age between pairing and seeing wrigglies in the nest, even worse if it's a nest built way too well :P
It's amazing seeing them venture out for the first time too and then the first snuggles...can you tell I'm excited lol

Tilia has puppies
She had them yesterday as she was still a chunky monkey on Sunday night and looking slimmer on Monday afternoon. Have also heard some tiny squeaks and she left the nest open when she was foraging in the cage so I saw some pups rolling around in the nest

The pups have been escaping the nest continuously since Friday and are VERY vocal. They definitely don't approve Tilia dragging them back to the nest "But mumma there's a whole cage to 'splore!"
Looks to be just 2 Dom Spots but I'll know for sure tomorrow if their eyes are open so I can have a look at the nest.

Acacia is all settled and is due her puppies tomorrow so *fingers crossed* for her to do well too. She's Tilia's mum so I'm hoping for another BEW in the litter but she was paired with a different boy this time so we'll see.

I get all teary-eyed when they venture out. I was the same with my very first litter and thought it was because it was my first time breeding hams but nope, I just get overwhelmed by how adorable they are.

Thank you, I've had a cuddle with her today as I won't really be able to after this evening. She looks roughly the same size as last time so hopefully she'll have another litter of 4 again but I'll be happy regardless
