Default Are these what I think they are?

Apparently, Darcy, escaped a few days after I left due to one of my mams' friend's children not closing the lid properly and somehow found a way into, Dantes',and I didn't think much of it until this evening when I saw what looked like baby bumps. If somebody could confirm my suspicion, that would also explain why she has been acting up.

I'm not 100% sure but she looks like she could be pregnant.

I'm not exactly a professional so I'd wait for a breeder's opinion, but it does look like baby bumps to me.Hopefully if she is pregnant(very likely)she has an easy time giving birth and everything!

I'd say she's pregnant. Do you know the date they met? You will know how far she is then, and we can give you advice if you need it

You will have to prepare yourself for eyeless whites I'm afraid, They're both patterned hamsters and could possibly be hiding the Wh gene, which is the anophthalmic white gene and causes eyeless white pups if two copies of the gene is inherited. They could also not carry the gene and the pups will be fine, I'm just letting you know this because there's a possibility and it's best to prepare for it. How old is Darcy?

she looks very pregnant to me. Get the strawberry and any pup unfreindly items out of her cage now like the poles and seasaw. Give her a huge amount of bedding and a good clean as you won't be cleaning her for at least two weeks. Move the cage to a very quiet spot and sto handling her at around day 14. Feed extra protein and be peperaed tp leave her strictly alone for about 7-10 days till pups are coming out.
Maybe start asking people about provisional homes for the pups. You will need a couple of tubs / cages for the boys and girls at 3 weeks and stock up with your babyfood and top up your vet fund just in case. Good luck

I am not entirely sure of the date but it was somewhere around the 20th I think. My calculations estimate her to be eleven or twelve days.

What do you mean when you say two copies? One gene from each parent or two genes from each parent? I really do hope the white belly gene isn't carried by Darcy or Dante! What type of specialized care do eyeless white pups require? What sort of lives do they lead? What colour and pattern variations should I expect to see? I believe, Darcy, is coming up to four months old.

I have removed everything from the cage and added a few bags of hemp. I am going to do a big shop tomorrow and get everything that is needed. How much baby food should I buy? Around twenty jars or so?
