All the different colors are amazing! I also was wondering if the pups were the colors you were breeding for?

My main hope is for the pups to be healthy whatever color they may be. I was actually aiming for pattern more then color this generation as Dewey II was not carrying rust so no chance at all of any Chocolate. Since finding out the original foundation breeders carried Cinnamon I am not as picky about using a Cinnamon to a Chocolate, but I still would rather limit the Cinnamon crossing to the rust line as is possible. Most likely color and pattern I will keep back will be any Homozygous Polywhite Dominant spot in either Golden,Yellow,or Black. Second choice would be Heterozygous Polywhite Dominant Spot in either Golden,Yellow,or Black. 3rd choice would be Homo/Hetero Polywhite Banded Dominant Spot in either Golden,Yellow,or Black. and 4th choice would be Homo/hetero Polywhite Banded in any color, and last would be Homo/Hetero Polywhite solid in either Golden,Yellow,or Black. The final selection of Keepers has more then just pattern and color though as I am also focusing on size and type as well as Temperament too.

Lol - I got lost there. It's like a whole language these genetics! A spot yellow sounds interesting though! Looking forward to seeing the pups.

Well pups are growing and pigment is starting to show up on the darker color pups, and a few of the red eyed pups are starting to show a grey cast on their pink skin which usually means Dove or in this litter it could be Champagne(dove with two genes of rust). There is one dark Tort band pup(can be Black or Chocolate at this point you can't tell which), at least one Golden Homo Polywhite Band( Has a lot of white as the Polywhite gene extends the white on the body so it makes this pup look banded but with the solid color areas being splotched like a Dominant Spot is. Several have dark patches(can be Black,Golden,Chocolate, or Rust) around the ears and solid white bodies There is 12 pups in total. 3 have red eyes and the rest are dark eyes.

Sadly as does happen at times my teeny tiny half the size of the other pups runt has went on to the bridge. She was born with and apple dome skull which usually indicates a birth defect which often ends their precious life very young. She was a Black Tort Banded Dominant Spot with Hetero Polywhite gene. Run free little girl you now have no need to try to suckle with deformed teeth which caused you much problems with suckling.

I even tried placing her in with the D-16 litter who were much closer to her size but she was being lovingly groomed by Nainsie trying so hard to wake her tiny frail body up. Nainsie was soo kind to the little one and actually placed her limp body in my hands and looked at me as if she was asking me to make her breath.
