Only clean the cage once the pups eyes open - it should be in a couple of days. It's best to let them have a couple of days used to your hand first, and that mum is okay with you having your hand in the cage before you actually clean the cage.

I'd just empty they substrate and put fresh in, mix a bit of the old substrate with the new so there's still some of her scent there. Don't bother using any cleaning products. Try to keep her nest the same though because it will stress her out if her nest is destroyed.

Yes, their eyes are open and i already tried to put my hand in the cage and hand feed the mom. Some of the pups can now eat solid food and drink from the water bottle.

Are all eyes open? If so, and mum is fine with you being in the cage then it'll be safe to clean their cage. Just be careful because pups can be quite jumpy when you first start to handle them. Move them all to a separate cage when you clean them out
